About Webflow
Webflow is a visual web design and hosting platform that lets teams build, launch, and manage production-ready websites without writing code. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in San Francisco, Webflow serves hundreds of thousands of customers, from independent creators and agencies to enterprises like Dell and Zendesk.
The Challenge
The DNS setup experience for users connecting an existing domain needed to feel like part of the Webflow product, not a third-party hand-off, and Webflow's support team still absorbed DNS-related tickets whenever a user's records drifted after setup.
The Solution
To improve the domain setup experience, Webflow began using Entri Connect and Entri Sell in 2023. In 2026, they adopted the new Entri UI: a cleaner, faster, more on-brand flow with the same automatic domain configuration across 70+ providers.
The results
Average time to publish decreased nearly 30%
~5% of users opted to purchase a new domain via Entri Sell to use with Webflow
With the upgraded Entri UI, Connect conversion rate increased by 4% percentage, compared to the legacy UI
“Hitting ‘publish’ on a site has always been an exciting moment and stripping away the complexities of DNS is why we partnered with Entri in the first place. Since moving to Activate we’ve seen an increase in the number of users publishing and faster time to publish” - Utkarsh Sengar, Chief Technology Officer, Engineering at Webflow
The Impact
For Webflow, the redesigned UI closes the gap between the domain setup experience and the rest of the product, so users no longer feel like they’ve left Webflow to configure a domain. It also gives Webflow’s support team a proactive signal through Monitor before a drifted DNS record turns into a ticket, without asking Webflow to take on any additional integration work. The result: Webflow users launch their sites faster and with less friction — fewer DNS headaches, more sites live, happier Webflow users.
